What you keep now. What you'd keep at eXp.
Put in your own numbers. It works out a year at your current office against eXp's published Australian terms, then shows it month by month, including the month you'd hit the cap. Every assumption is listed underneath. Nothing you type leaves this page unless you ask me to email you the numbers.
Thanks. Your numbers are on their way to your inbox, and I'll be in touch personally.

| Month | GCI | Kept at eXp | Kept now | Ahead (running) |

How it's worked out
- eXp: you keep 75% until $100,000 GCI for the year, then 100% for the rest of the year. That's eXp Australia's stated split for independent contractor agents.1
- eXp fees: the $250 + GST monthly subscription, and the $250 + GST startup fee in month one only. In year two the startup fee drops off.1
- Not included: the $550 settlement fee, which eXp says is paid by the seller at settlement; any post-cap or other transaction fees in your agreement; and your own running costs (insurance, portals, marketing), which you'd pay in either model.
- Your current office: your fee percentage comes off your GCI first and your split applies to what's left, or it comes out of your share, as you choose. Desk fees are counted at 52 weeks a year.
- Month by month assumes your GCI comes in evenly across the year, starting from your eXp anniversary. Real years are lumpier, so the cap month moves with your settlements.
- Commission-only employed agents are on 70/30 to the same cap at eXp, so this calculator overstates their figure.1
An illustration from your own inputs, not a promise of earnings, and not financial or tax advice. All figures exclude GST and are before tax. eXp sets its terms and can change them, so check the current independent contractor agreement before you decide. On a call I'll run this with your real figures.
